Holly
Holly started dancing at just five years old and went on to compete both in and outside of school, so dance has always been a huge part of her life. Over the years, dance has given her so much more than just movement, it has helped build confidence, self-expression, discipline and a real love for performing.

Now, Holly loves sharing that passion with others and creating fun, welcoming and supportive classes where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. Her goal is to help people build confidence, enjoy moving their bodies and discover how much fun dance can be, without feeling like they have to be perfect. Whether you're completely new to dance or have danced before, Holly wants her classes to be a place where you can let go, have fun, learn something new and leave feeling great.

Jen aka Ruby Ratchet
Jen has been dancing for most of her life. She stopped dancing after primary school, spent her high school years doing musical theatre, and eventually found her way back to dance through pole when she was 18.
She discovered burlesque completely by accident a few years later. She had an hour to fill between two pole classes and her options were burlesque or a split-stretching class. Flexibility has never been one of her defining qualities, so she figured burlesque sounded considerably more fun. She fell head over heels for it and never looked back. What She adores about burlesque is that it celebrates what you have rather than focusing on what you don’t. It doesn’t matter who you are, your history, your abilities or your limitations, we work with the body, personality and strengths you bring into the room. If you have a body, you can burlesque.
Jen has been teaching burlesque since 2018 and have since run her own studio, choreographed and produced performances, and spent plenty of time on stage both performing and MCing as Ruby Ratchet.
Jens classes are about more than learning choreography. We explore technique, musicality, storytelling and the art of the tease, while finding the movements and performance style that work for you. There may be boas. There will probably be inappropriate jokes. But most importantly, Jen wants you to leave class feeling a little more confident in the magnificent body and personality you walked in with.
